at my high school, the jazz instructor had a Roland Juno-60
sitting behind some music stands forever... I was interested
in this little beast of a synth, so I asked him if I could
"take it home and practice... i'll bring it back"... he
replied, "go ahead, have fun with it, i don't know where it
came from, it's been here and hasn't been used... don't you
think the jazz band should use it?"... then I proceeded to
take it home, he left for another high school, in another
state, and i still have it. he's the only person that knows
i've got it besides you guys... so blah!

I got a synthesizer out of my music class going to's. fooey
on you.

i was taught by an aged pervert who used to drop his
conductors baton on the floor to look up girls skirts, we
always used to reckon he had socks stuffed down the front of
his pants, and he ended up getting sacked for trying to
touch someone up in the stock cupboard.

Most of the time he just used to sit us in front of TV and
fuck off for the entire lesson, we watched Bugsy Malone
about 8 times (Jodie Foster tho, grr), Roots, and Oscars
magic orchestra.

When he could be bothered to teach he'd teach us these
bizarre songs about mermaids and black horses. He'd
occaisonally break into extended rants at as about how much
a "shower of shit" we were and how if we had any sense at
all we'd be leaving the area as soon as we were old enough
cos he thought it was such a dead end shit hole.Usually all
that was needed to set him off was someone playing bum notes
on a recorder on purpose or something.

They had this Atari with a Midi keyboard which we used ONCE
only and when i tried to fiddle with it to see what the
pitchbend wheel did he went absolutely mental and threw me
out of the class.

It werent that bad really, quite interesting..doubt i learnt
Fuk all though.
