I'm a bit confused as to if this supports velocity. Says here that it does, but that seems a bit odd. I thought the Akai controller didn't support velocity and that's why everyone recommends the (more expensive) M-Audio Triggerfinger over it.
Anyone with one care/who has used one care to clear this up?

I think it's velocity-sensitive, but I'm not sure. It seems VERY odd that it's not.

Been reading a few reviews and it seems I got the wrong end of the stick, "the sensitivity isn't quite what some might expect it to be; it takes practice to get to used to hitting the pads at the right velocity. However, the unit does have a full-volume mode which I find myself frequently using."
I'd read a few other things to that effect too. I think it's that a lot of people disable the velocity sensitivity because it's not great and end up just using the "on or off" full velocity mode.
Still, anyone got a triggerfinger?
