What do you think the best Kung-Fu movie is?

Mine = Hero, probably. Kung Fu Hustle is in a close second.

DRUNKEN MASTER!!!!!!

shaolin & wu-tang
snake in eagles shadow

yeah, it's awesome! strange you didn't recognise the goofy
apprentice, though, as it's jackie chan... the same duo (sam
the seed and jackie chan) star in Drunken Master (1) too!

enjoyable.

has anyone seen any of the kung fu films that the Wu Tang
Clang has bought the rights to? They are hilarious; ancient
Chinese people referring to each other as 'nigga' and 'dawg'
with even worse dubbing than you thought imaginable,
straight from the slums of Shaolin as you'd expect.

all the fong sai yuk ones are nice too.. and as wuxia goes,
though they're a bit silly, the swordsman movies (1+2) are
pretty cool too!

Ong-bak is definately in my top 3 favorite martial arts
scenes, but that isn't true Muay-thai... Tony Jaa is a
master of several forms of martial arts, and, according to
my roomate's brother (who spent 6 months living in
thailand), only about half the stuff in the movie was the
same as what he witnessed of muay-thai being practiced in
thailand.

I agree with Snake In The Eagle's Shadow, and most mentions
here. Fist of Legend was pretty marvellous too.

These have to be seen to be believed:
-The Story of Ricky / Lik Wong
-Crippled Avengers / Can Que
-Encounters of the Spooky Kind / Gui Da Gui

before this thread was even made!)
