So if an individual tends to have nightmares, yet regards
them as beautiful, this individual will OWN the future? What
part of the future? Like the next 100 years... or does the
rest of the possibly infinite future belong to people who
believe in the beauty of their dreams? Too bad I've been
buying the future on the black market. You can buy anything
with money, even a purple dinosaur.

yes you will own your own nightmarish future, but if you
find it beautiful thats cool. i believe it's finite, but

I'll sell one to you... we'll have to do it secretly. I'll
call it a "zeebochockomonchodocko"... I'll say it's a big,
uh, water fountain... that'll explain the need for a large
delivery truck. Search on ebay, for a
zeebochockomonchodocko, I'll tell a limited number of people
who are interested and you can compete for the highest bid.
But don't tell anybody else, I don't want to get in trouble
with the law.

"Supposing truth is a woman-what then? Are there not grounds
for the suspicion that all philosophers, insofar as they
were dogmatists, have been very inexpert about women?" -
Friedrich Nietzsche in Beyond Good and Evil, preface.

yes i've read Nietzsche, during college. i found his work to
be very difficult to digest, and of course i didn't agree
with his philosophies. i have a sunnier view on life than
him, so i was at odds with his philosophy. =)

Nietzsche teaches you how to love life in its joys and
pains. He doesn't segregate experiences. Pain is as
important as joy (not in a masochist way). "That which does
not kill you makes you stronger."

yeah .. but i think what LeCoeur was getting at is that the
world that Nietzsche presupposes is not exactly the happiest
place on earth so to speak.

his philosophy is a pretty lonely one ..

LeCoeur: i've only got a lil book "The first
philosophers/The Presocratics and the sophists" -
unfortunately tho it only has excerpts n that .. and is
quite hard going because it is so fragmented .. (all the
originals were burnt in the "great library") - in
metaphorical terms tho its pretty cool imho

this is SOOOo going off topic :) sos'

Well, to shed some more light: it's exactly what Nietzsche
tells you-in darkness you are your own light.
