i'm playing a gig on the 23rd at Fuel in pioneer square,
you're all invited, and if you want to play a set, Let me
know!!

Gotta fill up 10 til 2, and I can do it by myself, but it
would be cool to bring more heads and more variety with
another person or two.

Yes, my mom's entire side of the family is in Seattle.
Also, my older sister works for some sort of company out
there, she moved out there last spring. I'm staying with my
grandparents. I'm nervous about my grandma's cooking -- I
expect canned green beans and sliced hot dogs daily.

there is plenty of fine cuisine at affordable prices all
over Seattle. gramma and grampa won't feel bad if you go
out for some sushi or gyros or ooh, there is this great
Indian joint in the u district called Cedars and oh man I'm
totally going there for dinner tonight. oh god yum.

I wish I lived in seattle. I spent 5 days there 2 autumns
(well, end of summer/start of autumn) ago, and it was an
amazing city that I had a great time in. I also recommend
visiting Vancouver if you are visiting seattle. :)

Excellent, I have to find meatless stuff to eat but I'm sure
it will be no problem. I just hope I can find a way to get
around. Are the busses reliable?

i love seattle too. i was born here and i'll probably die
here. I almost moved away to San Francisco a couple years
ago, but that fell through, and now we have a baby and a
mortgage, so it looks like i'll be here for a while longer.

I love Vancouver too. We have a few friends up there so we
make several trips a year.

err.. unfortunately no. the one thing that is sorely
lacking in Seattle is a decent public transit system.
You'll want to study the bus schedules. if you are going to
major neighborhoods, or downtown though, you shouldn't have
a problem.

oh and Seattle is VERY veggie friendly. every resturaunt
has meatless dishes. there are a few all-veggi places too
that are well reviewed, but i eat meat so i couldn't really
give an objective opinion.

haha okay thanks for the warning, i guess it isn't too big
of a deal since i have a month filled with no obligations
really so if it takes me two days to walk to the...wherever,
so be it :) i'm looking forward to the trip though,
especially for photos. wisconsin is severely lacking in
mountains and i love mt. rainier!
