Anyone ever heard this band? They do clean rock-style
covers of NES songs, and the musicianship is actually pretty
good. They're a nice band if you like NES music but want to
hear it in a new way. The older songs are my favorites, but
they did a couple cool ones on the new record.
Here's the website if you think you might want to
check them out. I can transfer the old(er) songs on MSN if
the website doesn't have them anymore.

i dont like the way the guitars sound

they're just. i dunno theyre really round sounding. nintendo
songs should be sharp as the dickens

I know what you mean, but it's also a lot easier to
reproduce that nintendo sharpness on a synth than a guitar.
:D

they're deadly.

i made a thread about them when i found out about them too,
and i was informed that there were plenty of other threads
about 'em.

their self-titled (not 'elf-titled') album is great... and i
hate 8-bit music, so that's saying something.

I appologize for the re-thread then. I didn't do a search
for them here because I though they weren't very well known.
I guess everyone who wants to hear them somehow already has.
:D
