what do you think of their music?

i think it's great and gives me a huge nostalgia trip. i
grew up with songs like wednesday morning 3am, america,
bridge over troubled water, the boxer, etc, and it's still
really very interesting music to listen to.

they were great..

They are great. And their songs are so versatile and
coverable, just great songwriting that you can take and run
with. Between them, Harpers Bizarre and the Free Design, I
think 59th Street Bridge is the sweetest motherfucking shit,
so many rad versions.

I like a lot of 60s pop but I never really appreciated Simon
and Garfunkel, and I just think Paul Simon is a bit of a
cunt.

In related news, I never realised that was Garfunkel in
Catch 22.

In less related news, I used to play tennis with a kid
called Garfunkel.

My mum always says, when I'm listening to music,
"Ohhh if you like this, you'd LOVE Simon and Garfunkel! I
don't know WHY you scoff at them!"

I'll give it a go i suppose. GODdd
