everything started with the band "the Shadows" in the '60,
i suppose (and i have some cds of my dad)

lately i'm listening to satan's pilgrims and the last
weekend i discovered messer chups from russia

so any similar band?
any suggestion starting from the classixxxxxx (except the
Shadows) to the latest bands?

Euroboys
KÃ¥re and the Cavemen
Both Norwegian (the same band really)but makes world class
surf-rock.

Download/Check out this record and especially
"Filadelfia". You will love it.

Dick Dale. hands down

Euroboys/KÃ¥re and the Cavemen are a bunch of pussies. Soft
and bland, apart from the first album, or even better, the
first 7"

That's a subtle way of telling us you've got their first 7"
;)
I thing KÃ¥re'd "A long days" and Euroboys "Soft Focus" are
excellent surf-rock. And surf-rock are supposed to be soft
and easy-going! Not enough acid for ya? :P

hihi.

I feel that surf is more of the jangly, wild guitar thing,
perhaps some spooky melodies and freaked out drumming.
Although some good clean surf is nice, I prefer the more
"evil" stuff. I haven't researched into psychobilly, but
maybe that's the stuff I like
