What's the best album of the 80s? If God asked me that question on some celestial version of Pop Quiz, I'd have to say "God, it's obviously 'Infected' by the British act The The". Matt Johnson's lyrics presaged my ENTIRE life, and now I can only read them with a mixture of tears, regret, rueful smiles and strong booze. What a great guy!!! THAT's what pop music should be. I like Mind Bomb, but...hmmm, don't know. "Kingdom of Rain" is a standout track. Fuck me..
