Records that suck

Do you own a lot ? These can be records you got when you
were young then you realized they were complete bullshit.
What do you do of them ? Do you listen to them sometimes ?
Are you ashamed ? Did you sell them ? Did you destroy them ?
Did you give them to your your brother ?

Orbital - Octane. It was shite. I sold it in a car boot sale
for two quid

Quite a few. Mainly things I considered experimental metal
when I was younger. Like Neurosis for example. Actually
"Times of Grace" still has its moments.

Thankfully I didn't have a cd player in my Ace of Base
times.

Kept most of the really crap ones in a box with no cases,
they're gradually getting more and more scratched as they
get moved around, makes for some good samples. Others got
sold or binned or whatever, i've probably got about 20% of
the collection i used to have, it was fucking annoying me
having so much stuff.

ive got a big pile of dodgy bootlegs and promos which ive
picked up, but never really listened too. But they look all
scruffy and so i dont want to put them in my nice shiny
rack. Most of them I assume to be crap.

Electronica-records I recently bought (not when I was a kid,
that is) that sucks: Hrvatski - Swarm & Dither, Like A Tim -
Red And Blue Boxing, Lektrogirl-I love my computer. I'm not
ashamed, and won't destroy them, but I never listen to them.
They just...exist in my shelves.

Ahah yeah Hrvatski/KFW sucks so bad !!!

Well I've got some records that I bought recently and that
suck, becuz the samples on boomkat or juno were nice but the
whole songs are just repetitive and boring. Hopefully next
year I'll be able to listen to them entirelly before buying,
thanks to soulseek !

the ones that are still kind of decent but i don't listen to
anymore go in a drawer with my cd-rs and cds that are too
used/scratched to be presentable. (i really don't have much
of those latter two categories, i'm careful now with my
cds)

the ones that really were kind of a disgrace aren't in my
room anymore, i think there was two of them... i gave one to
my brother and don't remember where i put the other one.

terrible!

i also own oingo boingo's "boi-ngo" album - i love oingo

horrible, an ex- girlfriend bought it for me...

ha! i was thinking about it but your jam & spoon comment
made me stall. you're forgetting their most popular alias
"storm" who did "storm", "time to burn" (of which one remix
is one of my favourite club tracks ever) and "storm animal"
is is a bit o.t.t. and cheesy, but bearable.

Oh come now, it's a great formula, tried and tested. Find
the vestiges of a song mouldering in some sticky kaftan
fold, drag it out for 10 minutes or so, a bit of
chanty-chanty, wave some incense, and ommmm na-maaa, an
INSTANT MYSTICAL EPIC!

Like the flowers in the scent of summer,
Mystic oriental spice,
Shall we take a pilgrimmage to our spiritual mecca?
No bollocks to it let's have curry and rice....

Chicken tikka poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!
Alla gomi poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!
Onion bhaji poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!
Plate of chips, poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!

Meditating with the Maharishi,
Live a life that's pure and sparse,
Lamb jalfrezi and fifteen pints of lager,
Sent a message to yer arse....

Bindi bhaji poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!
Tarka dhal poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!
Tarka the otter poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!
Tennents extra poppadom ta la, taaaa laaaa!!!

kak in English is cack, which sounds the same as "kak"
(well.. almost..), hence dobbin mentioning the group Kak in
the first place, etc.
