you should...it's like doing a remake of clockwork orange or
something like that, it's impossible and so vain!

I hate most remakes...I don't think i've seen one i
like. Then again , i refuse to watch most of them...

The only movies out there right now are shitty re-makes and
animated kids crap...
have you noticed how they're bringing out like 5 films a
week,it's odd..It used to be a pretty big thing when there
was a new film..but now they just relentlessly pump out
shit.

I should make a movie

at least Sam Raimi is producing it, i hope he will have a
regard on it...

indeed yeah, i was just being a bollocks - i do appreciate
your despair.

however, "evil dead".. sounds like a cheesy horror flick to
begin with. so i can't say i'd have much of a problem with
them doing whatever they liked with it.

it's not my fav horror film at all, but it's a real cult.
it's a movie that means something in the history of movies
(if that makes sense). it's a shame to even think doing a
remake of it...
Only worth it if Peter Jackson direct it (joking)

im a bit confused, as evil dead 2 is already a
remake/parody of the first one, so what does raimi plan on
doing to it next?

if he ends up remaking army of darnkess, ill flip a serious
bitch.

the only decent remake of a film i've ever seen (whereby the
remake was better than the original) was The Fly.

you gotta admit, the David Cronenberg version kicked the
shit out of the original

sigh... someone should put money into adapting some of the
hundreds of classy books that are out there instead of
making more remakes!

Sam Raimi also produced Xena: The Warrior Princess
