lighten up? heehee
that's funny coming from someone who i picture sitting there
angrily hunched over his computer trying to think of some
new spiteful remark about music he doesn't know anything
about.

hey, listen, there are thousands of bands out there that i
fucking hate, but i'm certainly not going to waste my life
sitting writing about how shit they are. not unless NME want
to fucking pay me. who's payroll are you on?

This is so funny, I had to check out "someone's" last 25

has-been with no talent.

fennesz makes beautiful electronic music with guitar,
boards of canada makes beautiful electronic music with
guitar (& 666 other instruments), that's it, no big deal.

each have their style / universe AND this world is big
enough for both of them. (i think i read somewhere boc knows
fennesz, & yeah there are interesting fascinations with
america/california from europe //endless summers & headfire
camp// even if those 2 records are REALLY different)

did you notice that smiley at the end? i usually put that
when i tease people.
"are you some sort of
struggling music journalist who sees every piece of music
as
having to fit into a prescribed box?"

because that comment i made looks very journalistic?..

and i hope this ep will be good, less dull than album
anyway..

I'd love to enforce the,

"Any messages NOT related to this particular release
will be deleted by the Moderators.
Keep it clean!
Please, report any abuses to the Moderators."

But I've got to go home in 40 minutes.

i love the familiarity of their retro sound, lushious warm
cosy friendly gentle, can't wait for the new ep.

how about implementing a sort of calendar to the release on
top of the board, a countdown clock of somekind? yeah, do
that!

Nice post. And gentlemen like us can agree to disagree. I
just think that TCH-sound is boring, and that their attempt
to mix guitars with electronica doesn't work as good as for
example Fennesz. My post about them trying to sound like him
is of course nonsense, but I like the fact that my
naughtyboy-post actually provoced. I also have to include
that I appreciate my other BOC-records very much.

I have suggested a calender for Phob, but was thinking more
of concerts and stuff, but I maybe in XLT2.0?

Good plan; I like the idea of a Bon villain style "T- x Days
xx:xx:xx H/M/S till 'release name' is released." Countdown
timer for "big releases". Appearing at the top of the page.
I don't think I'd bother looking at a calender.

Listened to TCHeadphase for the first time in a couple of
months the other day and was blown away. Which is strange
because I wasn't overly impressed when it first came out.
Seems to be a grower for me. I notice there is a bit of a
mixed opinion on these boards about their latest release but
I like it, and I guess that's what counts ain't it!

Quite looking forward to TCHighway now.

It is a grower indeed ! Extremely slowly growing but
extremely beautifully growing.

I guess I'll order it. I traded The Campfire Headphase for
Yoseph like 2 weeks after I got it though, hopefully this
one will be better.
