What is most gay; to take a shower without washing your
hair, or to wash your hair without taking a shower?

oh, wait.. are you washing the hair without showering
because there's cum in it or is it because the blood of your
enemies is in it?

Well, I've not washed my hair in 4 years. I have no
dandruff, it doesn't smell and I'm no hippy. Even a barber
didn't know until I mentioned it after she had commented on
what clean strong hair I had.

My feeling is that shampoo is completely unneccesary and
actually dries your scalp. Only time I'd use it is if I got
something really unpleasent in my hair that wouldn't just
wash out with water.

so you wash with water
ive experimented with this but i was too afraid id go bald
from it for some nonsense reason (if you dont wash at all
you can get mold on your head and go bald i heard)
also it got to greasy because i cant be bothered to wash
every damn day, i mean i already have to shave when im under
the shower

My hair was pretty rank for about 6 weeks when I started
doing it (felt like I had gel in it all the time, even when
I didn't), but since then, it has been fine. Main thing I've
noticed is things that would take 2 washes with shampoo to
come out (eg hair wax, salt from the sea, etc) now come out
with just one wash of water. I wash it with water every time
I shower, but that's all. I occassionally put gel in it, say
once a month.

yea but why i wanted to do it was because my haid would sit
better on my head because of the greasyness, is it slightly
more greasy then before now?

I wash with water every morning and when I get a haircut,
the person doing the haircut will use shampoo and whatever..
professional hair wash feels good (since this is a thread
about gayness I must specify that it only feels good when it
is performed by hot women).

It feels very clean, no bits in it, or differences in
texture, but when you run your hands through it, it feel
like there's very fine oil on the hair (which doesn't come
off onto your hands). It does help me style it without gel.
I'd say it's like you'd get if you mixed the weakest "hold"
gel with about 4 parts water.

Yeah, I didn't mention it to my gf until we'd been going out
for 18 months. I didn't intentionally conceal it from her,
it just never came up in conversation. Her response was,
"urgh that's disgusting", her brother (who is in his 30s)
piped up that he was the same and hadn't washed his hair for
years either. His wife(!) who was also present
(again, hadn't noticed in the years they'd been together)
also said, "urgh!"

It seems obvious to me that if your wife/partner doesn't
spot these things till you tell them, that it's probably not
neccessary to use shampoo. What is remarkable is their
response; even though our hair clearly didn't
feel/look/smell dirty (or they'd have told us to shampoo
it), they were still repulsed by the idea that we only used
water to wash it.

Makes you wonder how much of that is down to how successful
shampoo advertising is, to make you think it's so
neccessary.

do you not wash at all, or not even at regular intervals, or
are you talking rinse with water every day?

Yeah smoke from nightclubs was one of the things that
washing with shampoo couldn't shift. Now it goes much
quicker for me when I was with water.

Big: Yes, I think using shampoo sporadically is meant to be
really bad as your hair isn't self cleaning and at the same
time, you're going a long time between effective washes. My
ex used to reckon you should cycle the shampoos you use
regularly, but I don't think there was any science in that
(even though she was a biologist), more just that it was an
excuse to keep buying bloody overpriced beauty products.

Hanal: The driver of our schoolbus did his hair as you
described. It looked ace on windy days as the combover
"clumps" held together with gel would often get stuck up as
long drooping spikes at funny angles. This earned him the
nickname, of 'Peacock Man'.

I haven't had a wash in 4 years. The water is too impure
and would fuck up my pH levels or something, so every month
I make sure I stand up at least once and the sweat produced
from this task washes away any grime...I then dry in an
analogue fashion.
