This tune defines Techno for me- out of this world yet strangely familiar. There's nothing like dancing to the thunder of Jeff Mills (when he's on form) and hearing The Bells drop from nowhere. |

i love techno but i think this track is wank, overrated and overplayed. in fact, the same goes for the man himself. saw him play live once and it was just OK. he was supposed to play in my hometown and didnt show up because supposedly he had 'lost' his recordcases or whatever. I've heard terrible sets from him and the guy just needs to calm the fuck down before touching vinyl. there are some releases of his i really dig though. especially that really tripped out sci-fi minimal stuff. too bad 90% of his output is crap. |
