saw the second tower collapse, it was pretty distrubing

btw the class was computers so everyone was trying to find
the news on the internet, but cnn.com, and all the other

A kid mentioned it in my chem class about a plane hitting
the tower and we thought he meant a small single engine
plane.... I got back to my dorm to watch the second tower
collapse

I had just gotten to work, and had no idea why no one was
there untill security told me what was going on. I rushed
home and turned my TV on, and my jaw droped.

i was in school...with my arms in a bucket of wet
plaster...some girls from another class walked in and
started talking to some girls who were sitting near the
door...and then told the whole class what had happened...at
the time there was also a rumor that my city was under
attack as well..armed terrorists at a local bank..so that
freaked us out even more...though that just turned out to be
a crazy lady with a cap gun...
at first i thought it was just some weird rumor or
joke...but then my teacher turned on the radio..by then one
of the towers was completely gone..
then i went home and watched the constant replays...
weird day...

I had just got out of the shower when my brother rang me
from Greece, he's in the navy and when he heard "Twin Towers
has been hit by two planes" he thought it meant they had
been hit by missiles, as a result he thought WWW 3 had
started. In retrospect I'm amazed how calm I remained.

Just waking up, and I just heard on NBC before I went out
the door that a plane had crashed into the WTC. I thought it
was just a small tourist plane or something, then I went to
school and everyone was rambling about ''oh, it's a war now,
this is awful, end of the world'', and I was too tired to
pay attention. I got home around 1 PM, and saw the video of
the crashes... that was surreal.

I was installing a computer network into a school. There was
no tv or internet connection at that moment due to our
installation. I found out from my WAP phone by chance, about
20 minutes after it had happened, and we used my phone all
afternoon to get the latest news.

I was in my intro to literature class. About halfway
through, a campus police officer came in and asked to speak
w/ a girl in the class outside. We didn't see her after
that. Somehow my teacher found out that this girl's dad had
been in one of the WTC towers that morning (he worked
there), and that a commerical aircraft had struck it, and
they don't know if he evacuated or not. I guess her dad
made it out...injuries from falling debris, but alive. We
didn't find that out until a week later.

After class I was in campus center for a while where they
had the ABC news feed on the monitors. A terrible day.
Everyone was horribly upset and terrified wherever i went.

I was watching the news...I always do at that time (at 3:05
was the second plane and the news begin at 3:00)
seeing it at the same time that it happened.... maybe the
saddest day in my life

I think it was a day that stunned the whole world! I was
speechless - it was if it were a bad dream, I couldn't
believe it at first!

Hah, I was at work when it happend, when I drove home, I
heard on the Radio, that the WTC tower collpased.

Dumass Architects was my first thought, I put DISC 2 of Dave
Clarkes World Service in my Car Stereo, not really caring
about what was going on....

After, I got home, I slept for a few hours....actually I
didnt realize what really happend, after the next day.....

its weird how so many people from other countries were
affected by this...
it usually seems like most people outside the country (and
inside..) dont really care too much for the US..which is
understandable...
though i remember thinking the day it happened that no
matter how much you disagree with the country...something
like this is still upsetting..

Large amounts of people dying is always upsetting, but we
thought there were 50.000 people dead, turns out there were
about 3000 people dead(from various nationalities). Plus
everyone was affraid of world war 3/nukes. I'm still not
sure how it will end.

I was in school, reading psychology I believe... over heard
some other people talking about it... it will forever be
imprinted on my brain I think, as will the Columbine
pictures...
