just buy OK Computer. It's prretty down the line as it goes but it's verry good. If you don't like it, just give up on them, therre arre plently of otherr bands to fill yourr time with.

'pulk/pull revolving doors' from 'amnesiac'. and any others that contain just little or no yorke's vocals.
i generally can't listen to r-head cause Yorke's voice annoys me, but i still have a few cds. ok computer, kid a and amnesiac have many good moments on them.

i think it's different if you get to know their stuff album by album and in chronological order. i knew them in about '97 when "computer" was released. i was still more into rock stuff and soon began to listen to more electronic stuff. when i was deep into electronic music - then Radiohead caught up and released "kid a" . so i could like their music again.
well, if you start from "computer" [or from "pablo honey"] and go further than you can see how they changed, evolved from a guitar rock band to a......weird and somewhat "electronica influenced" guitar band.

my favourite band..innovators and absorbers as all class acts are ..they seem to wind a lot of people up as this shows..most albums have something that is excellent on them..why does a request for information get treated with abuse..thought the quest for knowledge was a worthy pursuit

i love KID A because i got into it around the same time i found ambient electronic music. after listening to more and older stuff, i realize how much Radiohead was "influenced".
Okay Computer is an amazing album, in my opinion. i used to hate it but after a while it really grew on me. it's a great album to listen to when you are depressed. which i'm not anymore. which is probably why i don't listen to much Radiohead anymore.
Amnesiac is really good too. it's like Kid A, but on a different tip.

i was a big fun of radiohead once but they just lost me after "Amnesiac", i think their stuff after that album was just hit and miss, or maybe i wasn't into that kind of rock music anymore....and vocals in music usually annoy me. i used to enjoy Bjork's singing as well as Yorke's, but it's not like that anymore.

I really like radiohead but then I got into them with the bends. one of the reasons i think i like them though is that theyve evolved musically on a simliar tangent to myself. kid A is great bus music and i really enjoyed hail to the thief. a lot of people slate it but really radiohead are a rock band at heart and Hail... i think, is a great marriage of rock electronica without going too far in either direction.

"ok,ok, I really fucking hate them but everyone seems to like them"
> no, most people seem to hate them on this board. : )
i actually suspect a few ones of pretending to hate them just to jump on the (anti-)bandwagon... by the way, if you really "fucking hate them", why are you asking for recommendations?
anyway, i don't agree with people saying that if you've heard OK Computer, you've heard it all... The Bends, OK Computer and Kid A are really different styles to me. but maybe that depends on how much you're used to them/how much you appreciate them.
