Found this on imdb: An musical duo by the name of Boards of Canada recently wrote an album called The Campfire Headphase (warp records),citing Zabriskie Point as a huge influence on that album.
Someone recently pieced together a video using a song from said album and clips from Zabriskie Point. The result,in my opinion,is awesome. It also prompted me to seek out this movie.
