what bands/artists you once found exciting turned crap? or the other way around?
*personally i can't belive what dave grohl is up to ever since nirvana.
*mike patton turning for better every day
damn, it's hard to think of someone who used to produce weak music and turned for good, it's usually the other way around..

Yeah you could probably say the same for Moby and Fatboy Slim. Lots of rappers do a downward spiral - Redman, LL Cool J, Mobb Deep, Nas...
Im trying to think who went bad -> good. I guess you could say The Beatles.

Always Outnumbered should did suck. but with the fat Spitfire 05 version and new tracks and live stuff, plus a new album with Kieth and Maxim (unlik AONO) maybe prodigy are still good for a little while longer..

I haven't heard any new stuff since the album, and they were a bit shit live last year playing the recent material. Howlett is the only one who can save them, the shouty lads aren't the key

Haha, so you should. I don't see why you have to start threads like this, labelling one thing as bad and another as good, your opinion changes but the music stays the same.

tricky- good to bad. i was a huge fan of his first two albums, especially second, then "angels with dirty faces" was still ok but when i bought "juxtapose" i was really dissapointed and i dont think i really enjoyed anything from him after that.

Nine inch nails man, they are "So amazing", fecking makes me sick! OIMG LIVE SHOWIEWIB OMFG BIG TV
With teeth had like 3 songs I liked, (Line that blurs, that one that kicks in towards the end that sounds like DWS and some other one)
I bought it, was soooo sad to see the shitty packaging, nice price for the cd though (9.99). yeah anyway, hopefully he will win me back with the second installment.

i would absolutely agree with you if by "latest" you'd mean "exciter"
they were getting better and better and better and even after wilder left, managed to maintain the same quality, but after that...well, it just wasn't the same.
continuing:
+ to - vesna the orb photek
- to + st. germain nightmares on wax and actually, if it weren't for incunabula, i'd add autechre

too bad they didn't stick to Mark Bell as producer.....he did great job with "exciter". "playing the angel" is shit imo, compared to what they did with Alan before.
