bought mary ann meets the gravediggers & other short
stories today. really cool album. similar vocal style to
bjork but different style of music, heavy piano basis.
really good stuff.
i recommend people to listen to the track 'us'

(also bought 'snares ross.. on vinyl as an impulse buy,
didnt expect to see it in hmv. spot on)

the name sounds like it's some sort of offensive word for a
well-used vagina or something...

I bought the album after hearing Us, I like her, reminds me
of how Tori used to be before she became a mother n stuff..
Tori still wins, but Regina's got that whole Russian thing
goin on..

just stumbled across this thread, she sounds interesting, i
love Tori's early music, haven't came across many female
artists that compare to her, Kate Bush or Bjork. I noticed
Regina Spektor has a new album out soon, might check it out.

i have a few songs by her that i enjoy a lot (specifically
folding chair and some live songs). this thread makes me
interested in checking out a full album. did gravediggers
just come out?
