ok,

so it's been a year and a few months

and quite honestly,
i think this has been at least the 2nd, maybe at most 3rd
most listened to track of the past year (maybe 1st but i
cant say for sure, but whatever).

and everytime, no matter how stoned, no matter how sober, no
matter how much dB, ...

the part from 3:58 to 4:30

just, seriously.

i cannot differentiate between the layers or
how-ever-the-fuk he made that part.

it makes my head spin. i can't wrap my head around the
sounds ... the different layers (if it even is different
layers, which it has to be)...my head just locks up.

no matter how hard i concentrate on it, the warble sound
just does that ... it warbles my head relentlessly.

totally fuked up.

by the time the ending melody kicks in, ive totally
forgotten about that. so lovely, so nice.

but i can't figure out anything about that damn part no
matter how many times or how brainfucked i am

crazy good.

i don't understand what you mean..

it seems extremly simple.

maybe you've got the title song wrong, the song is on
AFX-Analord_10-(Rephlex)-Vinyl-2005-DPS (7:51min)
correct?

oh ok, i read what you put again..

Yes, it's a wierd synth, but, its just some standard gate
and a filter going back and fourth.

well it warbles my brain and i cant quite seperate anything
that's going on.

brilliant? maybe....just maybe.

ive made posts about this before ... but over time nothing
has changed, even though i have the entire part memorized in
my head .

i still can't "seperate" any of the layers or bits...very
strange.

I really don't get this song.

Its decent, but I am not sure why Lord10 is supposed to be
so great.

^^^dont know what to say to that
nor am i going to try to explain to you why i think it's so
great.

the noise from the equipment buried in it is almost as good
as the track itself, although i think that was the point.

same can be heard in drukqs

acid @ 2min and on is so grooved out and smooth

i agree, when i first heard it i was in awe, and i still am.
i love the way it creeps up on you, everytime i just think
richard, you dark bastard, only you could do that. to
summarise it in one word: timeless.

xmd5a is the best analord track in my opinion. i absolutely
love it, especially the bassline that comes in in the second
half.

yeah, the ending synth stuff takes me away, makes everything
from the past 4-5minutes just melt away and you forget about
it all

Its that acid melody that comes in around the 2.20 mark that
does me in. its so hard to get such a complex but funky
melody.

it ranks among the greatest ever created I'd say. rubbing
shoulders with acid over & humanoid
