This comment is on discogs.com:

"Honestly, this is not something easy to listen to. If
anything, this is best suited as a background music. Maybe
something to pop in while you're reading, playing video
games, or maybe even while you're falling asleep. Autechre
has never really done anything like this before, minimal
ambience. While there are 2 different tracks here, each
"song" gets it's own chapters. So no its not just 2 really
long songs... its more like about 20 short tracks merged
into one long listen."

Bullshit comment.

They are both excellent releases. And that "this is not
something easy to listen to" quote should be from someone
who doesnt even know who æ or the h3o Really sound like.
Either that or that person is gettong paid to do random
commnets on cds, without been part of their music, "hey just
put those cds make a comment and publish it". Doesnt work
like that!!!
I like both releases, dont have preferences, both have
different "state of mind" in their process....

I don't like it, I've outgrown artsy-fartsy avantgarde
music.

I don't know It's all about the sound I don't find anything
artsy or pretentious about it. I think that's al your own
opinion.

releases dated back to early 80s and before then,

I normally love dark, minimal ambient music, but I found
those releases to be fairly average. I can still enjoy them,
mind. I just think there's better examples of that style,
personally.
