you have to keep in mind the type of people who are voting
for these awards and what they are exposed to

whenever people bitch about the grammy's i tend to not
listen - same with the oscars - all of us on this bored are
here because we have an urge to dig deeper rather than just
eat up what is handed to us (presumably, however judging by
some of the taste on here some cats are just idiots)

you have to remove yourself from the realm of music you
normally deal with when considering the grammy's

you cant compare it to lesser known acts...thats not what
its for - analord didnt sell like the chemical brothers -
yeah thats lame to me, and you, and to a lot of people -
hence, i dont buy their shit or pay attention to the
grammy's

just bear in mind...its a different ball game

my vote for album of the year was busdriver's fear of a
black tangent - that wasnt on the grammys and no one on here
seemed to give two shits about it...

so...?
