What if Aphex or Squarepusher were to do the soundtrack for
a movie... what kind would it be? Personally, when i go to
see a movie, i hardly ever hear a soundtrack that makes the
movie a whole... Like them hip-hop type flix, with loads of
R&B, it doesn't add to the film...

Good examples in my opinion are: Lord Of The Rings
(Celtic/dreamy music) and Ocean's 11 ( the funk really adds
to general 'bad guy' atmosphere)

I think squarepusher would be great as a manga movie
soundtracker... Or as a soundtracker for matrix like movies,
wist fast combat scenes... Haven't figured out exactly to
what kind of movie Richards' music would fit best... Maybe
a western? :)

just listen to Passion... I'm telling ya, I haven't even
seen the movie The Last Temptation of Christ, but when I
listen to Passion I can see the movie in my head pretty
much... it's a very visual album!!!

Why always horror or scifi flics? Maybe a flic like lord of
the rings would have been something special with an aphex
soundtrack... His ambient soundscapes can create fantastic
atmospheres i think

i think geogaddi would've been perfect for the virgin
suicides.

geogaddi captures the spirit so well.

I've always liked air, and the sound track fits well with
the theme and issues of the film. But yes, geogaddi's dark
side would have fit well.

Super.
