I like 125 bpm
but 90 bpm can be very nice to.

i'm finding more and more that i like slow tempos, which had
been reflected in some of my tracks...slowest track i've
done has been 75bpm.

i dunno what it is, but i feel like if you work at a slower
tempo you can get more of a groove going on...or at least i
can hear a groove easier!

I think the 150-160 region isn't used enough, some of the
bangingest old skool tracks occupy that region, I think
quite a lot of Prodigy's Experience is in there, Venus 17
Acid Remix as well I believe

Depends what I'm feeling like. 118 bpm is your heart rate
at a quickened walk/jog, the ideal dance speed where girls
will dance naturally. !50 upwards is heard at half speed
whether you strain you neck 'getting' the 16"s or not. 103
to 96 is a healthy walking pace. It's all mood really.

mood really.... as jivverdicker so well put. : )

usually I choose something too fast (like 200+), and then
end up using it at half speed (i.e. BPM/2). So I rarely get
over 140 or so... I have made a few at 170-180, though. And
yes, 150-160 or so is a forgotten range!

oh its gotta be 140, cos it fits the grid on my sequencer,
which is really lame cos you cant change the grid. the
second best BPM must be 999999999999999999.
