anyone watch the double bill last night of morris/linehan's new creation. I thought it was so-so, Chris Morris was superb, but overall kinda predictable, |

It was OK. Chris Morris was the only real highlight, especially the "war on stress" part. If the characters settle down a bit I think it could be a decent show. You an definitely see flashes of Dougle from FT in the dialog of both the IT guys. |

I saw the first one online from the channel 4 website, and was horrified at the crapness of it. The jokes were awful and the characters really obvious. But then I flicked it on last night, and smiled at some of the bits - I hope that maybe the first episode was just a dud. Its produced by the Office producer so surely it must have somehting. Chris Morris is great. That role was made for him surely!1 |

its got that "innocent" kind of vibe which is refreshing, but its hardly split-your-sides material in same way father ted was. i liked morris's team stuff, made me smile |

I think you guys hate it so much because it is a bit too close to the bone. I just thought of you guys all the time when i saw that spekky black guy. Overall I thought it was originally brilliant and chris morris's cameos showed genius. |

i downloaded the first episode on the channel4 website before it was aired on tv, and i thought it was utter shit (one thing made me slightly, slightly slightly, chuckle). So i was a bit sad, since it had so much going for it, then earlier today my mum was talking about it to my brother, i said 'it's shit' .. but she carried on explaining to him some random bits, i listened in and to my suprisement i realised the versions were very different! What she explained sounded pretty funny, and way better than what i had seen. (perhaps they aired episodes 1 and 2 ?) Either way, i watched the first episode and it was shit, perhaps its going to improve!.. i hope so. |
