A few people know, but one of the most prominent compositive postmodern artists is Michael Jackson. For example, his piece Morphine (1997, Blood on the Dance Floor/HIStory In The Mix album) combines two pieces of industrial/electronic music and one of small-form neoclassical for the grand symphony orchestra. The latter mentioned piece is arranged with the sounds of medical equipment, voices of medical personnel (as part of programme music concept). For other works, Jackson creates unique timbres, as well as incorporates many nature, mechanical and noise sounds as samples for leading and accompanying instruments. The composer considers the task of implementing the sound that comes to his "head" in the record as very hard problem, including because of complexity of controlling the multiple parameters of electronic technique that would allow find exact timbre, satisfying the truthfullness of his artistic self-expression.
