i'm looking for a program where i can change the tempo of a track without changing the pitch, and hopefully convert the result into wav or mp3 form. any suggestions? p.s. i can't use windows media player. |

audacity is pretty decent for freeware. a bit laggy though, can get a tad tedious. but hey, it's free! |

yeah, the click removal function is sorta shit, but the normalizer and bass boosts are very helpful. it's rather good for being freeware. |

yes, the echo effects are horrible, but it could be useful for tweaking individual sounds and loops. |
