Where to get proper drum samples? and maybe old drumloops
and a proper vst to chop the drums up? Anyone?

record them in your home and if you dont have drums you can
record your door closing on your head

I share flacs of the complete drumtracks of a few Queens of
the Stone Age songs on slsk, if that´s helpful.

But the problem is that I dont have an internet connection
on the computer I'm going to do this in. I just need pure
samples of drums. maybe loops chopped. But any ideas? the
QOTSA samples sound great but cant download any at the
moment. What was the site that featured many different old
synths and samplers and has the sounds as download?

email me at teh_jerk@yahoo.com and i will upload some
beats/loops for you that you can then chop up.

if you are using Live, why don't you just use the impulse
drum machine?

you could always find some old vinyls or cds and cut out the
drum bits from them. i've found stuff on a couple of cds,
and i've sampled pieces from my drum machines and some
vinyls.
