Yes. That certainly looks handy. I am still more inclined to buy a receptor than this tho, even with the known limitations of receptor. Tell me this can run without a computer and I will be stoked, but I don't like the idea of having this giant noisey machine on every time I work on music.

"Kore will be able to make pizza cooking, and a sponsonring with Axe gives him the unbelievable capacity of self transforming in a state of the art shower, to improves your abilities of catching girls during live mixing, thankfull to the energy you took on the extra double cheese PizzaHut that Kore cooked for you !"
Maybe a GPS will be included too if you get lost in a club....

it seems like they're just making a machine that just mkes you really lazy? thinking in sound rather then instruments? what? if your preset king then i guess its ok.

hm... there's even more info on that site now, but i cannot still get the idea.
so kore is actually just this whole preset browser right ?
i mean the interface itself is just a midi controller/audio device. i hoped it would be something like a synth or at least dsp processor itself so it wouldn't eat up yer pc so much.

i'm also a bit afraid of the quality of the audio section as well. there is absolutely no information on the site what parts they used or so.

IF you want something to help your cpu, you might want to invest in ram or a new motherboard before you invest in something like kore.

oh come on - i wasnt thinking like this.
it just makes the decision receptor vs. kore easier/more difficult.

in fact it makes the decision to buy it or not much more easy/difficult.
i mean 500 euro for an 8 knob midibox and some audio interface i'll never use is a bit much.
and i just cannot imagine how that box should help me out sorting my presets... hm

Is that how much they are asking for it?
Thats pretty steep. I don't really know how much that these vst host-boxes are really worthwhile.

i would pay every cent for the ni complete package because imho - native instruments makes the most fabolous and good sounding plugins ever.
but a hardware product made by a company which for years tried to get you away from hardware doesn't make sense.

I am inclined to like arturia a lot more than native instruments. Their plugins sound better, they work better, and their customer support isn't uphorent. Personally, I wouldn't buy any hardware product from native instruments, because their reputation for customer support is terrible.

i never had the problem with customer support so i don't know really.
i won reaktor session last year in a music contest and i love it. i also have reaktor 5 cracked but i'm to dumb to really get into it.
the absynth 3 demo sounds astonishing !!
but if the customer support works as well as their registration proces then you're right - it has to be horrible.
registering the original version is a few times more difficult then crack it.

Yeah. Absynth is ace. I wish a hardware equivalent was available.
If it were, all people would need is a poly evolver, and absynth.
And a machine drum.
And an MPC.
