Tracks 2 and 3 were basically the only ones I liked and like you said pure energy in the case of "My Friend Dario" brilliant video as well.

I thought it was poo actually, boring, predictable generic techno/electro, I downloaded it, played it a fair bit, and I'd probably dance to it, I wouldn't buy it though. Sorry if that offends you ;)

In fact I prefer Daft Punk's "Homework", it's better and but it sounds a bit similar.

I like it a lot! It's goofun. The football girls in the video have nice bums.
My Friend Dario is so catchy. Not as catchy as Dragostea Din Tei mind you, but still.

My fave track by him is a tune called "Candy". It's kind of like an alternate version of "My friend Dario" but harder and with different lyrics. It's on the Fanfares EP.

Been listening to Vitalic latelly, my opinion changed, I think it's one of the best albums of the decade, fucking awesome, very varied, some italo tracks as italo should be today, one JM Jarre'esq track, french techno, good electronic music, I really think it came out at the wrong time seeing all the negative opinions in this thread.

nice album. some good stuff on there, but i don't see what the time-aspect would do in the context of xlt-appreciation. we're still way too snobbish to enjoy these fairly straightforward, but still very imaginative dance tracks. did i say dance tracks? o yes, i did! o dear. ...

I feel at the time people were too much into Analord and didn't give OK Cowboy a chance, I certainly didn't. I really like the "live" HH, reminds me of the drums on Black Devil Disco Club.

maybe it's produced badly because it all sounds kind of the same. given another context than the album it all sounds better.

Hah! I watched Naissance des Pieuvres a few weeks ago but I didn't recognized the Vitalic track, a few days later I got an urge to listen to OK Cowboy again, little did I know why! BTW it's a very good movie, highly recommended!
The sounds may be similar and he uses the same drums kit on most tracks but that's not an issue to me, Black Devil Disco Club did the same and it didn't stop from being one of the best EP's of ever, infact all the drums on Black Devil sound almost the same like it's the same drum tape loop.
