Ophecks - there is really nothing better than the grand ol 8 bit games. The music for the whole castlevania series, especially IV, is just wonderful.

Thanks violentcaustics , im a big fan of the old castlevanias.
I agree with blue calx about your pic, it is obviously a cheeseburger on a goat's ass, but the question is, how did you balance that? And also, is it a cheeseburger or double cheeseburger?

Marlowe, i listened to night drowning.
Pros - Very nice melodies, remind me a lot of plaid's double figure. Also the samples you used are very crisp.
Cons - I think the percussion part of the song may use a little work, but by no means is it bad.
The change half-way through is unexpected, its cool in a way, but a little too unexpected in another. Overall its a fun little track.

Ohhh yeah... Super Castlevania... the music for the Dungeons, the Treasury, ESPECIALLY the Outer Grounds, Waterfall... so fucking awesome. And the Prologue, yum... I didn't like most of Symphony of the Night's music, too many cheesy guitars and over the top orchestras... CV4 was tasteful.
I listen to music ripped from video games as much as I listen to ''real'' artists. I'm odd like that...

A while back i downloaded some castlevania and mega man tunes,,,most of which were straight from the games. But a few, one being the cave track, were done in full orchestration.
Its oh so tight.
