Animal reactions to music

Has anyone here remembered a time when you observed an
animal (i.e. house pet or otherwise) or animals react to
certain music in some way?

On the day I bought Untilted I was listening to Iera on my
stereo, and my dog approached and positioned his nose up to
the speakers, paused for a few seconds, then tilted his head
sideways (no pun intended). None of the other tracks on the
album appeared to grab his attention like Iera did, I wonder
why. True story.

Well, not to go off on an Ae tangent, but did anyone witness
anything similar in animal behaviour?

Sometimes my dogs seem to react to ryoji ikeda. I think that
is the only real time i have witnessed that.

Actually no. My dog sleeps in the same room as I make silly
loud noises all day. AAwwwww!

cats were reported to be very interested in music of Kotra
(high-pitch meganoise stuff), and one cat was reported to be
interested in zavoloka who makes music less crazy more
beautiful. that's what i know. also several years ago my own
now dead german shepherd dog started to howl while i was
playing piano, staring directly at me. I hope not because I
sucked at playing piano.

I play 'hide and seek' each morning with my dog. She waits
outside the door until I say 'come in, ready or not'

This avatar thing isn't my dog. I've forced Lucy the dog to
dress up like a Yorkshireman with a flat cap etc. but never
pom poms.

She's allways ready! I can hide that biscuit anywhere and
she'll find it.
