anyone got this? i have borrowed it from a friend and i have a small problem with it...
actually - ot has 8 physical outputs... every software finds the outputs, ableton, floops, all of them.
BUT, channel 8 (labelled as "subwoofer") plays half the volume than the other channels.
so i searched the creative mixer, changed all the settings and it's still the same...
someone solved that one ??

subwoofer outputs normally only output frequencies up to about 300hz (well low end frequcnies anyway) which is probably why it sounds quiet.

oh yeah that was really useful...
ecna: now that's the point - the sound is IDENTICAL to the ones from the rest of the outputs...
just lower

probably cuz you dont want your sub being at the same volume as everything else, or else it would simply be too loud.
why youre using the output for something other than the sub is another question all together.
