I'd like to add to Best of 2005: Minus the Bear - Menos El Oso Oh man, this is fuggin good. I admit they are friends of a friend from my home town Seattle. But man. Dave on guitar is fuckin awesome. He was in the band Botch, a now defunct hardcore band. but he does some crazy glitchy guitar shit on this album. a lot of it, he can do live with sampling pedals i guess. if you hate speedy indy-ish rock bands you won't like this by the way. |
