I've recently started listening to Morrisey stuff and find
it quite beguiling. Anyone else a fan? He can certainly
turn a phrase or two!

I think he's great, especially with The Smiths. But not too
shabby on his own either, saw him live in 2004 and it was
brilliant.

Morrissey's stag night, like sim.
Descriptive of a public house peopled entirely by broken men
of indeterminate age staring silently at their half-empty
pint glasses.'Shall we go to Yates's instead? It's like
Morrissey's stag night in here.'

^

The way a previously lairy, christams spirit-filled pub was,
when I played nannou 2 on their internet dukebox. It was
like a wake. Anyone who says music doesn't affect your mood
much is a fool.

when he climaxes, he lets out a tremulous, dejected sigh.

Apparently Stephen Street contractually took the music
writing credits for Viva Hate when it was in fact Vini
Reilly.
