Some good stuff available there. Notably the anthony braxton
and elliott carter interviews. I'll check the burroughs
interview though.

I downloaded the MPEG2 version of Romero's Night of the
Living Dead and a soviet propaganda film about ressurecting
animals. If you find that second one, do remember to post a
link, because I lost it.

holy shit

i'm watching that film on schitzophrenia

listening to steve reich's music for 16 musicians for the
first time..

it provides the IDEAL soundtrack to it - it's almost like
watching a long interlude in a documentary, but jesus, the
immediacy and frantic sense about some of the music is
heartwrenching when accompanied by the video of the mental
patients exhibiting their mannerisms..

it's incredible.

haha yes exactly. i was going to say in my original post
about how i've watched that film a few times with various
songs playing and it occuring to me that it seems the
perfect soundtrack! IZ-US is the best to me though i think
... it's always been in my mind the aphex has a lot to do
with mental illness.. the nature of the shots in the film
adds a lot too. watching IZ-US with it again now , fantastic
