Canada of Boards... coincidence? I think not...

Um... it kind of gets annoying how every other track
(almost) on Geogaddi is like a 1 or 2 min. segue into a
longer track. They sort of did that on Music has the right
to children too. And what the hell is up with that 'Magic
Window' track? That's just lame imo. I do like both Music &
Geogaddi though, just wish they would put more 'full tracks'
on there.

but really, how many topics were posted about Drukqs when it
first came out? Everyone's just excited about the new
album... it'll die down...

BoC EHT NO NROC!
(tip: read it backwards)

offline Mr_Flappypants from Louisville (United States) on 2002-03-01 01:38 [#00107017]

..........I tihnk the simple tracks are what make it what it
really is.......

Points: 16280 Status: Lurker | Followup to Clic: #00107014

yeah I guess... but some of the short tracks are awesome...
Over the Horizon Radar, and Diving Station are excellent...
as is Ready Lets Go... it is a shame they didn't expand on
those songs, but what can we do?

offline Mr_Flappypants from Louisville (United States) on 2002-03-01 01:40 [#00107019]

wwwwwaaaiiiitttttt.....is 1:46 important.....?

offline Clic on 2002-03-01 01:42 [#00107022]
Points: 5232 Status: Regular

Horizon Radar is excellent indeed. I'm not even saying I
don't like the short ones, just wish that there were a few
more lengthy ones.

offline Canerfold from Minneappleseed (United States) on 2002-03-01 01:42 [#00107023]
Points: 385 Status: Lurker

As far I see it, they put out an hour of music. Das just
fine with me. I'm glad that they don't do a traditional
lesser number of tracks that are a bit longer. It flows
different. That's also one of the reasons I'm diggin the
Godspees stuff. Nice change.

offline Mr_Flappypants from Louisville (United States) on 2002-03-01 01:44 [#00107024]
Points: 2796 Status: Addict

i do agree with clic, whenever i dont wanna listen to it all
the way through (which is not too often) ill just find
myself roatating from dawn chorus, to julie and candy, do
the beach at redpoint, back to dawn chorus, 1969, beach at
redpoint, sunshine recorder to in the annexe to julie and
candy, etc.

offline The_Funkmaster from St. John's (Canada) on 2002-03-01 01:45 [#00107025]
Points: 16280 Status: Lurker

yeah, I find the Music has the Right flows together like one
whole song almost, and it's the same way with Geogaddi... I
don't really think about it as a few long songs, and a few
short ones, but as Canerfold said, over an hour of music...
whenever I listen to Music has the Right, or Geogaddi I
almost always start from the beginning and play through
anyways...
