This is what music journalists were on about when they wrote
about "irony" in music.

No. It's not my song, I'm not some accordian playing white
indie rap woman from 1995.

Awesome. I hadn't heard the song since I was about thirteen,
and someone at the party lst night was like "Do you remember
that "Me and my Beretta" song? And I googled it today and it
was just on the band's website. Ah memories!

I haven't heard it in years. I see it sitting on the shelf
quite often. Top left, so it's prominent. Maybe I'll drag it
out for an airing.

If a song is a big hit, then you hear it loads of times and
it's less associated with the time. When somethings sort of
under the radar, you don't hear it for years and then it
makes you go "Ooooh yeahhh...."

They are empty cd-single cases (not the slimline rubbish you
are forced to buy these days but proper singles cases) that
I rescued from work. And I do mean rescued, not
"rescued", since they were going to chuck them out anyway.

..hmm.. alright... I believe you..

next question - what are those dvd boxed sets (if they are)
in the same cupboard?

are they.. seasons of.. Buffy..?

they are seasons of Buffy. and one of babylon5 and
the three LOTR boxes. together they make up 75% of my dvd
collection, all of which you can see there (less about 5
christmas and birthday and other recent additions).

There is also a clanger.

yeah I noticed the clanger. at first I thought it was that
little pig from children's tv you used to have in your
arvartar.

I like Buffy. it's funny.

criticized them. I didn't found them so awful though.

yes, 'cause then it would be a deadly sin.

what's with the odd speaker placement in that room (if it is
indeed the same room), and why are they different?

both questions can be ignored if it is two different rooms.

They remind me of some girl I used to fancy's dungarees.

That's right, dungarees.

I am looking for Masquerade's "(Solution to) The
Problem" if anyone has that, or indeed, it's in Xceque's
collection, seeing as everything else is.

I don't have anything by masquerade!
and the speakers in view are my surround speakers so they're
positioned in a manner technically known as "wherever"
