if you want cheap- theres a champagne for £7 at Sainsburys
thats in a black bottle and has a weird German name
Frexhurzi (or somthing along those lines- perhaps without
the "x")

It''s a "Cordon Brut"

Ofcourse you wouldn't have tasted it- it's much to classy
and sophisticated for you :P :).

oh jeez, £7, that sounds too expenisve and sophisticated
for me, that seems like light years away from my usual
40oz's of malt liqour. Never heard of Sainsburys, maybe
because I live in California. :P

Im looking for a high pinot content btw.
Tired of brut.
Pref. a secco style.

LOL- why don't you just go to your local supermarket (or
should i say mall?) and just pick one.

don't forget the grapes!- actually you probably have
your own vinyard living in California.

In France, they have two huge vats of wine. "White" and
"Red".
They just change the labels for different types, and add CO2
for champagne. It's all a massive con on snobs.
The Netto plonk is the same crap as the Moet.

yea that's the one. In the end we had a sparkling
wine- Asti

Swears is correct- champagne is just sparkling wine from the
Champagne city/region in France

All French wine comes from two huge industrial vats located
just outside Calais.

I "Windowlickered"/F1 winnered (depending on your prefered
cultural reference point) a decent bottle of champers on NYE
at the stroke of midnight. Once it stopped spraying, I
necked the rest. The other guests at the party were a bit
annoyed about getting soaked, but there we go, I was annoyed
by people pulling party poppers in my face, too.

LOL- I love it when the champagne sprays everywhere,
especially at birthdays and the cake gets drenched in it-
adds such a lovely taste to it.

Also, my friends' dog then goes mad licking the floor dry
:).
