i know shit about modern asian music. modern black music is known. so is modern white music. the only asian artist i can think of who doesnt copy established american or european music is aube. he's rather lame than interesting, though. so is there nothing going on in asia or do i just not notice it. who knows. music is so lame. maybe the asians got something going on? |

When I think Asians I think people from India and Pakistan (probably as Britain has had more to do with them, one way or another), and Americans seem to go straight for South East Asian people (probably as they've had more to do with them, oneway or another) and, I'll be frank, I have no idea about ANY of their music. if we're talking about south asia like pakistan/india, they dont have an electronic scene, or even dance music scene, its mostly pop bands, local rock music and old classical musics like nusrat fateh ali khan dont know about china japan obviously has a bit of an electronic music scene |
