like "sam and max" and "monkey island series".
Actually playing "condemned" and its great and not for
children.

I consider it like a nice hobby, when you've nothing of
better to do. I don't think it's a wasting of time.

I played SWG at a friend house last night for the first time
in a while. And an old Jurassic Park game on Supernintendo
or Sega, can't remember which. But the intro video is
classic! "Go. Go. Geeeeoooo!"

sure i do.

Not alot of the new stuff but its a good way to erase a
hangover. You wont even know you are out of it because you
will be zoned out on a TV screen

HAHA!

i received mario kart ds two days ago as an early christmas
present. i'm 21. generally, games no longer interest me like
they used to unless they're either completely unique and
innovative (katamari damacy) or a major new nintendo game
(i'm pretty excited about the new zelda). i'm also a huge
fan of the metal gear solid series.

if you enjoy doing something then it's not a waste of time:
tridenti loves playing games so they're not a waste of time
for him, but redrum hates playing games so they're a waste
of time for him. the sad thing is that most people don't
realise this simple fact, or they ignore it, preferring to
push their own opinions on others.

them anymore.

It's interesting to see people using their Megadrives and
NES consoles. I don't find the new stuff that enjoyable
anymore, and am discovering various random SNES games at
second hand shops which are great fun to play.

i don't really play many games these days cos they're all a
bit crap or too involved. i want a simple game that's
addictive.
i play starquake on my spectrum emulator a fair bit. and, of
course, spyro the dragon on my psx.

games are also too expensive these days and I've got more
urgent requirements of my money these days :(

Morning seems strange, almost out of place.
Searched hard for you and your special ways.
These days, these days.

Spent all my time, learnt a killer's art.
Took threats and abuse 'till I'd learned the part.
Can you stay for these days?

These days, these days.

Used outward deception to get away,
Broken heart romance to make it pay.

These days, these days.

We'll drift through it all, it's the modern age.
Take care of it all now these debts are paid.
Can you stay for these days?

Hahaha, true! I <3 u

Yeah I think I still play games. And I'm of the crazy
minority that think games like RE4, GTA, Shadow of the
Colossus, Half Life 2, MGS and whanot represent the finest
gaming achievements ever. Nostalgia does funny (and
admittedly wonderful) things. Games are gettin' better, not
worse, and there as much innovation as there ever was,
people just have selective memories and rose colored
retro-glasses on. And there's plenty of pick-up-and-play
games out there if you don't have a lot of time, you just
have to know where to look.

(of course I still play NES/Gen/SNES/MAME games on a regular
basis, don't get me wrong... nothing will ever top NHL 94)

So yeah I still game. It's not as important to me as music,
but it's not something I ever want to quit, it's a very rich
art, multi-dimensional. Guys like Akira Yamaoka make music
as compelling as anybody talked about on this board, and the
art direction in games like ICO or Silent Hill is great by
any standards. (stories in video games are the Achilles Heel
of hte industry, though... there's much progress to be made
there).

Video game girls are uniformly buxom, as well, which is a
nice bonus.

Random pic from my video games picture folder-

OK that didn't show up. How mortifying. It was in bad taste
anyway now that I think about it. GTA- New Orleans, what was
I thinking?
