no connection to the IMAX moon movie by the same name. yonderboi is the hungarian kid who released "shallow and profound" when he was 19 in 2001, a collection of alternately sublime triphop melodies and humorous ditties with a very distinct eastern european flavor. well, this is his new CD...i don't know if it's officially out yet. i downloaded a torrent but i'm going to order it tonight since he deserves some money. it's one part portishead, one part daft pank, one party gypsy, one part slap bass funk, one part church organ and choir. very nice album. |
