Saw the fellas from Soulwax playing some tunes on Friday
night in some tiny bar in Liverpool. It was too packed to go
downstairs to the dancefloor after a while so my mates asked
the organiser to crank up the main bar volume, where most of
the people were. And everything went ker-azy. Everybody was
dancing like imbeciles on tables and the bar, chairs, etc.
They played lots of four-to-the-floor techno/house/electro
tunes (no cheesy shit of course) and blew all our pissed up
minds with that Run Jeremy mix of "Windowlicker". By three
AM the tweeters had blown so we just went home grinning like
the fools we are, definately the best night out I've had in
ages.

5/5.

Congrats/well done for what? Surely the kudos should go to
the Soulwax boys for dropping such a delicious set. They
didn't even play any bootlegs.

if that's sexual innuendo i guess yes

i think you should take more credit for the turning up of
the volume (i usually ask for it to be turned down)

It was my mates Phil and Al who asked the organiser, a fella
called Revo. As soon as everybody started dancing, moshing
and singing along to all the hooks in the records, all the
too-cool-for-school hipster people left. I can't emphasise
for brill this was.
