Very good movie....

Did you see the directors cut Arch?....
I know, well at least here in CA, if you rent it say
somewhere like Blockbuster Video, you get the "cut up
version" which blows....

Anyways....yes, good call, great movie.

the movie wasn't shown in theaters in germany. they just
released 8 (eight!) copies for germany recently. although
it's already available on dvd.

i saw it and i was some kind of blown away. never saw a
movie with such an intensity.

i'll probably even see the new batman. i am courious to see
what arenowsky will make out of it.

I'm pretty sure that DA isn't gonna be working on the new
Batman... big pity...it was rumoured but apparently it fell
thru...

BUT... I'm dreaming of a AFX/Chris C/Darren A version of
Neuromancer even tho I know it's not gonna happen...

on imdb.com they still say that DA will be the director of
batman - year one. normally the info on imdb.com is pretty
much up to date.

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0261557

about this newromancer-thing. the rumours are around for
years, that cunningham was planning that movie. but i do not
have any further information on that.

Totally love Requiem. Bought it on DVD only because it got a
great review in a DVD magazine and it sounded interesting.
After my first viewing it stayed in my head all the time. It
was the only thing I could think of, so I watched it again
twice. And then I watched the Directors Commentary. I can't
fault the film, I think it's perfect.

And the excellent soundtrack, brilliant.

It's made me a Darren A. fan out of me. I ordered Pi soon
after. And I kinda hate Batman but now I'm totally looking
forward to Year One.

Requiem is one of my all time favourite films. It is truly
disturbing and emotional. It didn't get a very big release
in the treatres when it came out though because it was
unrated. I think it should be shown to kids in highschool,
it would probably be the most honest and effective anti-drug
campaign ever.

TrevorGod, I thought the same thing. Show the film to all
highschool kids, much better than "Reefer Madness" =D Now
thats just comedy.

the best sci-fi writers ever.!!!

One of the most powerful films i've ever seen in my life.
got the dvd as fast as i could. i love everything about it:
the cinematography, the editing, the casting, the music. I
wasn't sure what to expect to see; i saw Pi and i loved it,
and i didint know if Aronofsky would change his style once
he had a decent-sized budget (rather than $60,000 used on
Pi), but he blew me away with the movie. Incredible
director.
