bill_hicks: i was already upset against monoid before he started this aids shit... now you're right, it's not really fair. it's simply because it "speaks" to us more when we know someone who's directly concerned, and because we can't think about all the pain in the world all the time i guess. tridenti: yes, it's a zelda fairy. it's an old avatar i had back when people had zelda avatars for the release of wind waker (if i remember well)... i was thinking of making a new one (not a zelda one) but i haven't found a satisfying picture or idea yet so i settled for this instead. big: i like your way of thinking, i don't like banning nor closing threads either... usually when someone is banned or a thread is closed, i'm not too happy about it. there are people i like who got banned, and threads i liked who got closed. there is a bit too much moderation for my taste here (and a bit too much moderators - of course both things are related), the policy seems to be "keep the place clean" and not just about baning trolling... just sometimes, too much is too much. of course the moderators here seem to have a different idea of how much is and what can be "too much" than i do. |
