Hello guys,

a friend recommended this forum to spam some tracks I'm
working on. I'm looking forward to your feedback.

This and this

Thank you!

Guido

Hey Guido,

nice to see you here :)

your tracks are outstanding. Can't wait to hear more!

If possible, can you give us some information regarding the
software you used for this?

Thanks.

I used Psycle in combination with the commercial
VST's Linplug Alpha and Waldorf Attack.

Welcome Dutchy,

The first song has a nice beat structure...but I've the
feeling that I jumped into the middle of a song. It lacks a
beginning and end so I guess you cut out the mid section,
right?

Is the second link alright? cause I only hear some sort of
loop for 10 seconds.

Aesthetics, thanks for your reply.

The first song is long from finished; I have to make a lot
of changes to it yet. Actually it's kind of an experiment
gotten out of hand, I might completely redo it.

The second song downloads and plays fine here. You could try
to download it again, it might be the server messing up.

Guido

I only liked some bits of the second track.

"nog3" drums sound like something in progress, indeed.

have any of you ever heard of that psycle software? I
installed it today but it seems impossibly complex to me..

i'd be very interested to see someone else try it out.

nog3 is my fav track of the moment

Thanks for all the replies people :). At the moment I'm
working some more on the nog3 tune, it should be finished
shortly.

On a side question, can anyone recommend to me a good
netlabel which has a decent amount of regular listeners and
which releases the kind of style my tunes are? Or any other
good method to get my tunes out and get the word spread?

I've been making music for the past 10 years but I usually
only gave my stuff to friends so the "marketing" of music is
kind of a grey area to me, but since my music is getting
positive feedback I'd like to share it with a broader crowd
(and perhaps some day make some cash out if it, if
possible).

Thanks, I'll try to release it on monotonik.

Some more tweaking needs to be done, but here's the
current version. Please tell me what you think.

Guido.

i liked the first version better, it's prolly because i fell
in love with that one,
everything now sounds like it's been mangled by a low pass
filter,
the last part is nice though
what did you make the synth with?

Yeah I expected you would like the first version better :).

I agree with you that there is too much lowpasing going on,
maybe it has gotten too trance-ish. I think I'll let the
song rest for a while and continue it when i got some new
fresh ideas.

What do you mean exactly with the last part? Around 3:52m or
4:35m?

Linplug Alpha is what I use for the synths, it's great
software.

offline big from lsg on 2005-12-10 05:25 [#01797393]

i don't hear too much of a difference between 3:52 and 4:35,
it's just that i didnt dislike what you added, though i like
the first synths that come into the track the best

here's nog3, it's perfect and finished because
every time it's done playing i feel a little bit reborn

As Kashmir Boots he has an unique touch to his music.

His myspace contains a few dreamy songs. I hope you don't
mind me posting this Guido?

Didn't notice the thread got kicked. Thanks big!

Here's some more spam to whom is interested (most of the
music I created throughout the years).

Older stuff (around 2005):

nog3, finished version
still
love song
we
unfinished, feat. Rahzel, 2006

2007-2008:

14-10-2006, featured on One On Twoism 2
25-06-2007
Hatice Vaart, most recent track
(unfinished)

And for something completely different, my chiptune project.
