for os x. I'm SOOO sick of using Logic 4.8.1 in OS 9. It's a good program and it usually works, but when my OMS fucks up and I can't have Logic be the master for my drum machine cause the midi is all fucked up... well, i get pissed off.
Anyone know where I can get a good crack for os x? I just need something to hold me over until christmas. I think I'm gonna buy a hard disk recorder with my christmas money...

asking for illegal software on a forum is the quickest way to get it shut down.

maybe you're right,
i've been trying to fix my OMS for about 6 hours and I wrote this thread out of PURE desperation. The problem is I fucked up the OMS so badly that I can't even open Logic... which is a problem you see because I have about two years worth of material there... Lucky for me i have all the AIFFs backed up and that includes post-effects... i was planning on dumping this all on my hard disk recorder.. and blah blah blah i'm sure you don't want to hear the rest of the story.. anways
FUCK.. THIS IS NOT GOOD
i think i'll try Limewire? soulseek?

I could uprgrade to Logic OS X for only a couple hundred dollars. But, as I said, I need something to hold me over for now, something I can just record drums and guitar and piano into and have the MIDI actually work. I'm buying a roland 1680 soon. Which should be nice. No more sitting in front of the computer, starring at the screen, getting side tracked and posting online. Hardware brings in "the band" feel. Anyways, as for what you said, all good music software is expensive, regardless of the platform.

true. i got my expensive software free though. had nothing to do with my platform. had to do with generous friends with hookups.
so what you need is some generous friends with hookups.

I once had a generous friend and got hooked up with an OS 9.2 version of MAX/msp... but when they switched to OS X I didn't get the same treatment.
What program do you mainly use?
