any reccomendations for PS2 games, yeah i'm a bit late
getting one but I just bought a 'rediculously' small PS2
with Resident Evil 4, haven't had a chance to play it yet
but i've heard its amazing. I like games like Silent Hill 2,
Ico, RPG's etc.. cheers!

Get Beyond Good and Evil, Shadow of the Colossus (by the ICO
people, and it's even better), Fatal Frame (very good
survival horror), God of War, Zone of the Enders 2... but
Metal Gear Solid 3 first and foremost.

Silent Hill 2 might be my favourite game ever after Zelda
Ocarina Of Time, you have good taste. Silent Hill 3 is very
good as well, you'll just need to know Silent Hill 1's
scenario (i didn't have Silent Hill 1 so i just read it on
the internet).

Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 are really great...

Rez also (although it lacks levels). very original.

Prince Of Persia - The Sands Of Time. excellent platformer.

Guilty Gear X2 is one of my top favourite fighting games
(they released a sequel, called "Isuka").

um, what else... SSX 3 is a lot of fun, i have it on
Gamecube but it must be great on PS2 as well.

i love Super Monkey Ball (though it gets on some people's
nerves).

you might want to try Killer7; you may like it or hate it
but it's worth a try.

there are lots of other ones but it's all i can think of
right now; if you like tactical rpgs, maybe you might want
to try Disgaea - my brother played it and he loved it. (i
have/have had some Disgaea avatars by the way.)

and

wipeout (of course).

i dont even like ps2 but these are awesome.

i'll have to start again Beyond Good & Evil, i was
desperately stuck o_o good game apart from that.

Fatal Frame is really efficientindeed. (Forbidden Siren also
gives me the creeps - but it's so hard and scripted it's a
pain in the neck to play... the website is a
must-see.)

everyone seems to love God Of War but i didn't like the
ambiance at all and it felt like a rip-off from other games
for the gameplay (Devil May Cry, Onimusha, etc)... i prefer
Devil May Cry (1 or 3) personally.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is the bomb.

i want to have Katamari Damacy... wish it was released in
europe...

Wipeout Fusion?
: /

not sure about this one... i loved Wipeout 64 and i had good
memories from the ones i played on PSX (at friends' houses,
i don't have a Playstation 1 myself) but i found it
disappointing.

...maybe mostly because it had lots of bugs (including one
that made the save file "corrupt" itself, preventing me from
ever finishing the game or keeping my scores/unlocked
things.)
