being a child of parents from different countries i think ive grown up with an abnormal amount of dissent towards the usa - i dont think its good, i guess, people tell me it isnt - shouldnt i be proud of where im from? im more proud that im half british and half african what am i doing wrong? |

haha - i love that im from maine, but i dont consider it part of america, as ridiculous as that sounds - where im from was a bubble and tucked away from reality quite a bit i just dont feel that i have much in common w/ americans - esp those who support bush / ford trucks / walmart / etc - i feel like im that kid at school who doesnt fit in and just wants to leave ! |
