I thought I posted in this thread, my fave rare record I
have is The KLF vs. Extreme Noise Terror "3am Eternal"
one-sided 7". Oh i dunno... quite a bit of KLF stuff really,
Caustic Window white vinyl... Woodenspoon, ... I'm just
thinking elelctronic music here, ... i have other... stuff.

i have a bunch of cdrs that are un-numbered that couldn't be
editions of much more than 50, but the only one i can think
of offhand that is marked as an addition of 50 on the case
is one by Brent Gutzeit...

like richards hair which appears on the label of an analord
record?

speaking of KLF, do you know of the version of "what time is
love" which is a stripped down version consisting mainly of
the 303-bassline? i believe it has got a videoclip in which
you see a car driving towards you on a desert highway, in
the timespan of 6 mins (or more). which version/single,
etc...

I'm not sure, as there are quite so many remixes, but that
to me sounds like it might possibly be the 1988 Pure Trance
original version, which is pretty minimal compared to later
versions.

I had that on 12" with lots of european remixes. Jams LP 4
or maybe 5.

I don't have it anymore though. What a shit.

"The What Time is Love Story", that'd be worth a bit now. I
saw it yeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago, and I mean... 15 years, in a
shop for 25 squids, but that was out of my range then.

Oh, I might be right about the Pure Trance original as I
found the following on Stuey and Nick's KLF FAQ

"A video for the pure trance What Time Is Love is sometimes
shown on MTV. It consists of unedited footage from Sierra
Nevada. Two shots of sheep in a field bookended a 3 minute
shot of the JAMs-mobile gradually driving a couple of miles
towards the camera across a barren plain. It's extremely
tedious, and getting MTV to show this can be viewed as a
prank, despite the fact they often do!"

is Aphex Twin On / Remixes even rare? I bought mine down
the local indie shop new last year. Unless they've suddenly
become rare.

My most favourite vinyls that are hard to come by
are-Jayne/Wayne County and the Electric Chairs-Blatantly
Offensive EP.
X-Ray Spex-Warrior in Woolworths/Highly Imflammable.
Rarest is a white label/promo of the Rolling Stones, dont
know which as the original dust cover with name on was
missing, however the handwritten centre label has the tracks
listed. This vinyl is really heavy and thick. Its been double
bagged in a box for over ten years now.

Phuture Communications no. 1+2
"the analogue anorak" + "model 104"
the artist is unknown and any information on these releases
is hard to come by. discogs says theyre from ´97,
the style however is like earliest warp/rephlex records.
theyre not worth anything in material terms,
but theyre quite nice especially model 104.
if anyone knows more than me about those,
id be delighted to hear it.
